Hilarious start to the day. I thought the Estate Agent was arriving at 10.30am. Turns out it was 10am except she arrived at 9.50am!

David opened the door to her and she stepped into a hallway with 2 lamps, some ornaments, and candles sitting on the floor. David hastily explained that in another 5 minutes there would be a table there to actually put these items on (it was moved for the hall being painted.)

This might be a timely moment to warn any of you who ever actually visit us, that when we say we are expecting you at 7.30pm. We actually mean 7.30pm and NOT A SECOND BEFORE . Actually if you could be 15 - 20 mintes late, that would be perfect. Then there's at least a fighting chance I will be dressed in time for your arrival!!! :-))

So, estate agent has been and taken down our particulars, home report getting done tomorrow. Awaiting phone call from the photographer to arrange to come out and take the pics for the brochure (that will be interesting. He'll be fed up of me asking questions about photography! lol) and before we know it, we'll be on the market. GULP!

D and I have spent a huge part of the day just wandering from room to room as this is the first time in YEARS ages, every room in the house has been immaculately tidy (again all down to D's monumental effort yesterday, I really am a very lucky wife!) We are doing our best to divide the workload over the coming weeks with each of us having responsibility for certain aspects of the move. Later this evening we are hoping to sit down and actually fix a moving date. The it all becomes REALLY real!

Knowing this, we have made the effort to slow down today and take things a bit easier. D even managed to get an hour at the golf range so is a happy chappy.

I think a glass of wine and some nibbles before dinner would be a good start to the evening and reward for the fact I am still snottering and coughing like an old hag with this cold! and I actually think I may be able to keep my eyes open for long enough to spend some time catching up with Blip! :-)))
