Here's dedication to duty for you ........

This is Will getting rid of the slippy green algae that covers the stone flags after a Lake District winter - and of course, as it's still raining, he's having to do it in the wet with waterproofs and wellie boots on.

Actually, he's feeling quite pleased with himself today - because he managed to persuade the management at the well-known local DIY supermarket where he originally bought his wire brush - that it should have lasted much longer than it did. They gave him a new brush and that's what he's using now.

I'm a bit under the weather myself today - so I took this picture from the dry warmth of an upstairs window ..................................
