Shoots in shades of green.

Hostas are one of my favourite plants and some are just begining to come through.
This is one of them. I love the vibrant shades of green, which looked lovely in the sun.

Decided today to start tackling some of the outside jobs which need doing!
Went to the DIY shop and bought Paint for the shed, wood preservative for the fence, and also the swing seat, and metal paint for the garden table and chairs, which have gone a bit rusty. ( Well very rusty actually!!)

Have rubbed the table and chairs down with a wire brush, followed by sandpaper.
Mr C started on the shed. One coat on, needs another.

It is going to take us a day or two to finish it all! (weather permitting!) Then we will be ready for Summer!
