Welsh Tablestone Grave in Newbattle Graveyard
It's a bit ironic that for the first time since starting to blip I had real trouble trying to find a blip. Perhaps it was because I wanted it to be extra special today. In the end I returned to a graveyard I had been to before as I knew it had this magnificent tablestone in it. It was erected for the Welsh family and dates back to the very early 18th Century (1705). It is adorned extravagantly with garlands, cherubs, green men as well as reapers and sowers. If you want to read more and see some details check out my blogpost here.I find it hard to believe that I've now blipped for 500 consecutive days having to backblip only once when my dial-up connection was playing up. I would like to thank all my regular commentors and subscribers (some of whom have become firm friends) for all their much appreciated feedback and an extra special HUGE thank you to the Blip team who have made it possible for all of us to connect through our love of photography. And I also enjoy calling myself a blipper whenever the occasion to do so arises!
I'm aiming to continue blipping daily even though it's not always easy due to my slow connection and that is because I simply love doing it!
