challenge failure :(

A bit too busy today to rise to the April challenge; domestic stuff in the morning followed by a trip to East Lothian in the afternoon. Dad never expresses any strong preferences about going out or staying in ('aye fine, whatever you want' is his usual refrain), regardless of how often I explain that it's his decision. So it's always a surprise and a relief to hear him say that he's enjoying himself, which is what usually ends up happening on our visits to the Merry Hatton garden centre. But with a name like that, how could you not enjoy yourself?
