A good time was had by all

The Annual Disco and Judging of the Easter Egg Painting Competition of the Auchtermerely Conservative Association was the usual high spirited affair. The music was provided by Cllr M T Thetill RN Rtd and his band (The Reel Fife Fiddlers). The egg competition was won by Miss Isla Valassie with a life like representation of George Osborne in Budget mode.

The climax of the evening however was provided by Lady Agnes, known to us all as Big Aggie, fresh from her triumphant tour with the Senior Citizens Naturist Leap-Frog Team, who rendered us incontinent with her spirited performance of the Dashing White Sergeant, which managed to persuade 100% of the membership to take to the floor.

A vote of thanks was proposed to the guest of honour ( insert name here) and a special presentation was made to the youngest member of the Association, Mrs Scrote, on the occasion of her 86th Birthday.
