Night outing!

At 2.45 a.m., got a wake up call that my elderly aunt was admitted at the hospital with a hip fracture after a bad fall. Quickly in the car for a 50km drive with eyes wide open for any deer crossing the road (actually two sightings).

On my way back, the very early morning light caught my attention on the church steeple of the village of Caplan.
