beautiful.........

we decided that we needed to get out somewhere this afternoon..

we took a drive to the forest of dean which in itself is beautiful .. I love it and always feel relaxed when there..the kids love walking and exploring and its some exercise.

we wanted to visit a little place that we had found but when we got there it was closed off and the bird hide was locked up...we had a cheeky peak any way and while we were being quite looking for squiggles & birds I saw a herd of deer run past but too quick for us to get a picture.

we then moved on to mallards ponds ..by now it was raining but we were not going to be out long as I had to be at work...but it was full of ducks and we managed to get a few pictures even if it was in the rain.. the ponds were lovely and well worth another visit when we have longer to stay ..this is one of the views....just stunning .. I feel lucky to have these sort of places on our door step cheap days out combined with wildlife and tiring the kids out what more could you want ...


we hoping to go up that way again tomorrow and there will rush as im now off work til Tuesday !!!
