A quiet place in the country

The weather was not that bad considering it was the North of Scotland, snow lay deep here seven days ago. We wandered around the local places and enjoyed the utter silence that is the country, sleep has been uninterrupted.

We went to Port Soy which is quite pretty, we visited Banff and the aquarium and we had a great time in the company of our host. His house is big, so big that the children were able to select their own bedroom.

We befriended some horses one of whom looks like Simon Cowell, the rest were named according to their similarity to people on the X Factor.
