Garden beastie

I did photograph the inside of the tulip and was very pleased with it but this tint beastie less than 2cm long caught my eye as it settled on the leaves of the lupin plants. A quick shift of the tripod and there you go.

It seemed quite settled until I was about to release the shutter remote. One shot was all I got before it flew off.

I know it's not to everyone's taste but I dare you to look LARGE.
If I can find it I might upload a bee blip which is more scary than this wee fellow.
