Paradise
We were on our first Groupon outing today - and we really enjoyed it.
We stayed overnight at the Cheshunt Marriott: food good, restaurant service poor; room had everything you would expect, but looked a bit dated. Mrs Soup was pleased we were near a suitably large number of shops (see yesterday's Blip).
The best bit was today at the Paradise Wildlife Park. We had a Big Cat Breakfast: early start, tour round the big cats before the Park opened to the public, then breakfast - then back to the Park for several more hours to see the rest of the animals and the Speedway museum (Peter Sampson, who set up the Park, used to be a Speedway rider).
We took quite a few snaps today: three cameras and a smartphone (but pleased to see some of our fellow travelers were much more serious about their cameras/fancy lenses). I chose this one because: it captures a "moment" (see my biog); this is what we saw, I have not mucked-about with the photo; and I love the detail - what do you think?
