40 Years On ...

I believe we were the best rugby team ever to come out of St Aloysius College. We certainly won a lot of games - there were a few tough nuts and we had an inspiring captain. The team coach on the right is retiring this year and there's a re-union planned around the same time in May.

I came across this photo during the clearance of my mother's house. I was in the loft on Sunday which was my birthday. I opened an old suitcase and found some birthday cards for my 7th birthday - exactly 50 years on and I find a birthday card from my grandmother - birthday wishes from beyond the grave. Spooky.
