Uplifting

I know, I know more of this Bridge on my journal is just a lazy option - but stay with it.

My man came with me to visit my mother today. I'm glad we went she looked a bit off colour, and without him I would struggle to get there. I can't really stay with anything just now, my eyes are being a big pain and I am so very fed up with them. So I wanted a bit of uplift.

We had lunch out. Staring at this glorious sight took me back to days when, as a teen if needed to shed some angst, I would walk down here and sit. By the time I left I would be calm and uplifted.

When I was a teen my sister was in in folk band. They played Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge over Troubled Water all the time, it was much requested. This was my favourite. So much more lively and energising.

So today, with my mum, my man and my bridge I sang with my sister in my sights and now I'm dancing in my head. Another Bridge? No, much, much more.
