Home Again
Well the journey was interesting. After having to get up at 5:30 (a ridiculous 5 hours before the flight was supposed to take off) we got in the taxi with Steve who seemed like a great bloke. Until it turned out that we were heading for Geneva Airport instead of the airport our plane was leaving from; Chambery. A quick back track got us heading in the right direction again and we arrived at the airport in plenty of time. Only to discover that our flight had been delayed, when it reached the scheduled departure time we were told that the plane had yet to leave London. Brilliant. When we did get home to London City Airport we then had the pleasure of a drive through central London to get home.
This decorative tree sits on my window sill and says home quite nicely for me. The tree is from Ikea, which regular viewers will know I am quite keen on. The great news of the day is that the plans for an Ikea in my home town of Reading have been approved!! Get in.
