In The Firing Line

Friday night and I saw PT and I head for the Stand Comedy Club. Now not for the first time in 24 hours PT we got our times wrong. Anyone who has visited the Stand in Edinburghwill know that if you want to get a seat you have to be there for 7.30 pm 7.00 pm when the doors open. The reason for this is quite simple. There are very few tables and seats so if you do want to sit at a table you have to be at the front of the queue. Imagine our horror when we realised that the doors had opened earlier than we had expected and that the venue was already quite busy. Yes there were seats and tables available but they were right at the front of the room beside the stage. Still we took our chances. Did we escape ridicule and derision by the stream of comedians who took to the stage that night. Erm no we didn't. Never mind it was all good fun and a good time was had.
