...were kind enough to try this three times (wrong lens, wrong focus > nifty fifty). They are friends with the slightly attractive skater-chick from the other day.

Work flow, pricing, marketing, haggling, presentation, samples and a healthy dose of self confidence are required if you want to make money from photography. Sounds a bit like sales to me. I think thirteen years of selling office equipment/stationery might have been worthwhile after all. (Sorry to bleat on about this but I am recording my thoughts for the day here too.)
