Every city must have one -

it seems.
A new sight on the horizon on my trip into Bristol city centre this morning.

A beautifully bright day, which I am sure was not forecast, so we set off into the city centre for a little shopping, which is where we saw the wheel in the middle of Broadmead. We didn't sample it's delights though. There was one in Newcastle a few years ago which we tried when my daughter lived there, and it was disconcertingly wobbly! Definitely not the London Eye!

We went to St .Nicholas market, an area I love and had lunch at St. Stephen's church which specialises in Middle Eastern food. A Mezze followed by mint tea and baklava. Lovely.

After climbing Park Street, past the Cathedral and University, we decided to
treat ourselves to a taxi home and it started to rain as soon as we got in!

A good day but with tired feet now.
