DIY (or get someone else to DIFY)

I am so impressed with Grandmama's blip today that I feel quite guilty at my entry, but never mind!

Mr DV is always so much better when he's got a project and this is the current job in progress! Handles! 38 of them to be precise! When we moved about 13 months ago we really liked the kitchen although we felt it was in need of a bit of an update. We couldn't bring ourselves to get rid of basically sound cupboards so Mr DV has painted the tiles, re-painted and treated all the cupboard fronts and is now replacing all the handles!! Job almost done and it looks so much better.

We can't bear throwing things away just for the sake of it and chatting to our neighbour this morning made Mr DV hyperventilate!!! They had a new fridge freezer delivered last week and the door opened the wrong way - they couldn't change it as the bolt had sheared through so a replacement came today. What's going to happen to the week old fridge freezer? - The delivery men are taking it to the dump! Arrrrrrrrrrgh!!!
