Narrabeen - NSW

North Sydney - Narrabeen.

Arrived at our lodgings for the next 2 nights. Took a wee walk to the nearby beach and discovered the gorgeous Narrabeen Nature Reserve. miles of golden sandy beaches, surfers, and a tidal Swimming Pool. The locals were arriving early evening for a few laps of the pool.

We have something similar in North Berwick - but not as glamourous or as clean. This one is cleaned weekly by the council at low tide.

We returned 2 days later for a swim first thing in the morning but the tide was in and the pool was 'slightly' unavailable !

27 degrees today - although we were in the car and missed a lot of it. Sun sets by 630pm here.
