Roof tops of Bologna

On our last day in Bologna we climbed up steps inside the scaffolding around Basilica San Petronius to the roof top for fabulous views over the terracotta roofs of the city. It was much easier - less crowded - and far less scary than the climb up the taller of the two towers you can see in the photo.
