Good Morning Mr Cockie

Early photo today. A little after breakfast mrs tsuken spotted this splendid fellow on top of a pole outside our place. I quickly swapped lenses, and happily, he didn't fly off before I got back, went outside, and snapped off a bunch of shots. I rather liked this shot with the Moon, but the cockatoo's feathers are overexposed in that one, and I preferred the detail and focus in this closer-up shot.

I used a bit of an overlay layer on the cockatoo, sharpened the lot, then added a screen layer , erased a bit from the cockatoo.
