Gone to the dogs

Today we went to the amazing Beamish Musuem. This is basically an outdoor museum centred around a coal mine, with authentic shops and a bank and a post office etc with trams and really old buses running around the area. I took loads of photos, one of which I was going to use today. But I appear to have left my card reader at home.
In the evening we decided to go, for the very first time ever, to the dogs
racing. We went to Newcastle Stadium, where they also have speedway, and for £10 each, we got entry, 1 free drink and a 2 course meal.
I would highly recommend this a night out.
And no, we didn't spend a lot of cash.
