Jason-San

Jason has been going to karate for a couple of months now, one night a week. He's really been enjoying it but his normal class is off during the school holidays, so we have had to take him to one of the other sessions at a different location. He has been a bit out of his comfort zone as his normal class is full of beginners and the alternative classes he has taken over the last week or so have been full of coloured belts. It seems to be good for him, though, as he is being forced to step up a bit and compete with the more experienced kids. He is keen to get his first coloured belt, so I've increased the number of classes he attends each week and I'll have to start practising with him a bit more too. He and Karen are even trying to get me back to karate to train with him!
