Back blipped!

This was the only photo I managed today as Freya was really struggling with the chicken pox and slap cheek too. This was her laid on the couch reading a book while I did some chores.

The next day we ended up in A&E with Freya after she suffered what we thought was a ferebrile convulsion on Friday night. She had been really poorly all day Friday with a temperature which kept spiking 40 degrees + even though she was having regular calpol. All she wanted to do was sleep. After trying to get her to eat and drink all day with no success she curled up in my lap after tea time and suddenly started jerking. We phoned NHS 24 straight away who sent her to a&e right away and she was looked over. She was seriously dehydrated and her temp just wouldnt come down. After a few hours in hospital they got her temperature under control, managed to get her to keep some fluids down and diagnosed that she had suffered something called Rigor which your body gets when your temperature goes too high (similar to convulsions) and that they suspected she was fighting at least 3 different viruses so it was no wonder her poor body was not coping very well! Because we were very local they agreed to discharge us and that we could go off on holidays on Monday provided she didnt get the rigor again or be sick again.

So that explains why there are a few gaps in my timeline over the next few days as all my attention was on my little baby who needed her mummy and too be honest I needed to be with her and focus completely on getting her better!
