Ou, ou, ouch!
Today was the day when I decied I just couldn't ignore my tooth ache anymore. It's been getting progressively worse over the last three days and been keeping me awake.
Luckily I managed to get an emergency appointment. Of course it turned out to be my wisdom tooth (which I spent £219 on back in September!!) and the solution was to take it out!
Well I'm not the bravest person in the world, but I have a decent pain threshold ... so, I told myself 'how bad can it be'.... well let me tell you it was BAD!! I have had two children without pain relief and I much rather would have had a third! It took rather a lot of wriggeling, pushing, twisting and pulling but eventually, with my feet on the chair and me being held down by the nurse it was out!!
Looking like a Hamster I then had to go back in to the waiting room, being stared at by other patients who were annoyed because all appointments were now running really late and ended up paying £51 for the pleasure!
The afternoon was spent on the sofa feeling sorry for myself and waiting for the injections (and I had quite a lot!!) to wear off.
I was tempted to post a blip of my tooth - which they insisted I should keep?! but it looked horrible... so I took a quick picture out of our front window to catch the evening sun on the field.. now it is totally black, thundering and lightening and Chester trying to squeeze under the sofa.
Here is to no more toothache... well once this massive hole has healed up!
