Awful

This week's Challenge is 'Awful'. What on earth could I post for this! Then as Bruce and I were out on our run this afternoon we came across this footpath sign. We've run past this sign many, many times, but I've never really looked at it in any detail. The child's flowerpot toy looks like a recent addition, but the teddy has clearly been there a while. The coldness of the temperature seemed at odds with that gorgeous blue sky, and I felt a real shiver as I stopped. A tribute to a loved one who will never be forgotten.
