Not awfully inspired, but that's just because my phone couldn't quite handle it, and a real camera was 4 flights of stairs away.

I went to see Pirates: Band of Misfits today and had a jolly good time. Hearing Hugh Grant say 'booty' in a posher than posh voice over and over was amusing in itself, but the whole movie had a great collection of one liners, background jokes, visual comedy and general aardman silliness. 'London smells like grandma' is one that stayed in my mind. Not as good as Chicken Run, but a lot of fun nonetheless - I heard a reviewer saying that aardman just have such higher standards than anyone else, that even something commercially successful they might not consider as their best work, just because of the high bar they set themselves. I agree with that wholeheartedly.
