We lost power not long after the hurricane hit. The next day we passed the time making stuffed animals out of knitted gloves (OK, Jenny did) and I played Gameboy and colored in my niece's coloring book.


Why didn't I take photos of all the down power lines and trees? The simple answer is, I don't know. It didn't feel right to ride our bikes around and take photos of other people's misfortune.
