Two happy people!

This is my niece Elizabeth and her boyfriend Ross. They came for dinner and we had such a great time. They are a really lovely couple, both medical students at Glasgow University.After the debacle with my soup yesterday we decided on olive tapenade , balsamic salad dip and chunky bread for starter. Followed by stirfry veg with thin rice noodles and a lovely fillet of salmon. Followed by home made sticky toffee pudding with lochs of toffee sauce. I did mean to type lochs. Coffee and tea. Maybe not a traditional Easter day meal but it was delicious. It was funny cos I thought me and Elizabeth would make the pudding but she and Ross effortlessly slipped into working together. I stood at the back of the kitchen watching them with real pleasure. Eventually having been made redundant I set the table!! Dileas wasn't sure of him at all and barked a lot but I think he was being protective of Elizabeth. After a walk together playing sticks he calmed down. Ross is away home now and me Elizabeth and mum are sitting talking about how great he is!
