I started making this quilt a few years ago and finally basted it this morning. I pieced the top by hand so it took a long time! The quilt is so big that it only just fitted in our living room, even with all the furniture pushed back!

I used spray baste for the first time and it seems to have worked quite well, so much easier than pins! Although I'm waiting to see how well it sticks together when I start quilting...
