Spring Shades

What a lovely sight, both the native red-flowering currant (Ribes sanguineum) and those shadows!

Folks here are still a little giddy with the sudden sunshine and dazzling one another with their winter-pale limbs. As for my winter-pale limbs, both arms and legs -- and shoulders -- are feeling the effects of several hours of weeding yesterday, but less than they would have done last year.

Another brief blip, as I'm heading out again to forestall more weeds from dispursing their seeds!
