Go wild

The result of a birthday present - Go wild, 101 things to do outside before you grow up. Excellent book full of fun bushcraft, wild camping, fire-making stuff. All accompanied by safety warnings.* The catapult was fashioned yesterday, today we tried to find something with sufficient elasticity to fire a missile. The bike inner tube suggested, and blagged from the local bike shop, didn't really work. Any ideas anyone?
