New life

A day of April showers, but lovely in the sun between the showers. We spent a good bit of the day tidying the garden,, and then I discovered that one of the cabbage trees that blew down last winter - which I thought was dead - has started to grow from the root again! I grew these trees from seeds that I bought at Arthurs Pass, New Zealand, so I am delighted that it is putting up new shoots.
