Smithfield

I actually saw this shot on the way back from dinner on Saturday night.

The dustbin was an added bonus given to me by by a chef from Smiths next door.

I didn't think I'd be able to do this today as the sky had been very cloudy all day. When that happens street lights reflect off the cloud cover giving the sky an orange hue. I didn't want that.

Luckily the clouds cleared and I got my blue sky.

I was looking for an Edward Hopperish feel to the photograph, but with the absence of people. The only hint of human presence is the illuminated bedroom window top left.
