Soweto

After a long and leisurely lunch in Soweto, we strolled up Vilakazi street to have a look at the house where Nelson Mandela grew up. Lunch by the way was delicious, although we steered clear of the more traditional dishes - Tripe, "Walkers and Talkers" (chicken heads and feet) and baked head (lamb, goat cow) Lunch also means filling your plate as many times as you want!
Afterwards we left to watch The Eagles perform at the awesome Soccer City venue. The beautiful clouds visible in the glass partition (pic above) soon turned into a shower or two. Regardless The Eagles were outstanding and after "Hotel California" no amount of rain could douse the spirit of their performance!
