Sandhill Cranes & Chicks - 2

Laura and I have been friends since we were 9 years old. Her whole family has "adopted" me and I attend most of their holiday functions so today was no different. I had an amazing day especially when her grandson pointed at me when asked "Where's Nanna Kay?"

Laura and her husband have the pond with the Sandhill Cranes and chicks. We all sat outside until the birds finally showed up around 5:30pm. They will be 3 weeks old on Wednesday April 11th and growing so fast. Hopefully I'll continue to document their growth here in my journal.
