Bittersweet
Today was a mare but also great. Went and handed in my report.. late..
Then had a practical (pretty good), and then Jim came round and give me a brilliant (!!!) belated birthday present, a wide angle lens (thank you :)). I got all excited so we went up Carlton hill to test it out. Got to Old Carlton Graveyard and went in for a mooch got up the flight of concrete stairs and proceeded to juggle and drop my beautiful, perfect camera.. all I could do was watch as it fell all the way to the bottom. :'(
It still works.. sort of.. the zoom is jammed and you have to manually focus it but it does work. I need to buy a new lens I think. I am an IDIOT! Ironically, my dad the previous week had told me to put the strap back on it which I was going to do only I left it at a friend house.
We carried on our way and still managed to take some alright photos.
At the top this sight greeted us (unfortunately couldn't zoom out), a huge cloud was making its way over the forth. It was a pretty intimidating sight.
Then we got chips.
HOW DO I STRAIGHTEN HORIZONS? this is balanced on a bench on self timer so that it didn't blur (too much). Suggestions please :)
