Rape Fields and Turbines

Drove up on to the wolds roads again today. Wasn't as sunny as yesterday, but it was dry. This view across to Lissett is pretty awesome. On a clear day you can see right across Bridlington Bay and see Humber Bridge.

On the way back I stopped off in Bridlington Old Town and introduced mom to the delights of The Georgian Tea Rooms where we had a coffee then went upstairs and scoured the treasure trove of vintage items and antiques for a bargain. I found a lovely handmade lace cloth to drape over my dressing table chair. I shall certainly be making return visits to this place!
