Lovely "Day oot" with mumsie and pops for his birthday....

Delicious lunch in The Crachan in Drymen, one of my fav ever wee villages, then round to Balloch to see Maid of the Loch as was opened for Easter weekend. Have to say it is such a shame that there is no goverment funding for this grand old lady. It is run by some extremely dedicated volunteers who are doing all they can to restore her and get her sailing again, she hasn't moved since 1981. They need more volunteers!!!!

Was trying to find the finish of the "Kilt walk" from Hampden to Loch Lomond, but there was no sign of it anywhere, no walkers, coned off roads... nothing????
Any info on this would be gratefully received:)

Off to sit down now and await my first "hubby dinner" of the week ( see yesterdays blip)
