"You Lookin' At Me?"

I heard a programme on the radio about how Jackdaws can tell where a human is looking by watching their eyes. They were hypothesising that this gives the birds an advantage because it means that they can make sure that a predator isn't watching them and so can stick around to feed from a food source that other scavangers are too scared to go near.
