Arizona High

I traveled up to some high ground (cattle country) 2 miles or so to the south, but today there were no cattle to be found. This is national forest land leased by ranchers to raise they're live stock. This land is so arid I really find it hard to imagine that an animal that big can survive. I'll see a small group of cattle once in a while here but not today. The Mogollon Rim is off in the distance at over 6000 ft. elevation. I'm thinking this is a Palo Verde tree or Crown of thorns in the forground.... not sure. Happy Easter to all.
