Power Cut!

The electricity packed in at 4 AM. I know this because it came back on and went off and on and off....etc. The alarm clock was going haywire.
The boiler controlller shut off.
The shower pump was aff - we don't have a bath, so stinky us!
Our gas hob allowed hot water for coffee.
Our candles gave us light.
And I remembered the wind-up radio to be able to listen to the news / traffic reports.

Luckily, it came on again in the evening after a few ons and offs.

Makes you think.
