A short walk in Sheppard's Bush
Sheppard's Bush is a conservation area in Aurora. Lots of trees, paths, and wildflowers (lots in bloom today). This tree is quite massive. Not sure what species but the bark is soft enough to carve initials into it. There's an old cabin from the 1850s there and some sugar bush structures, benches in the woods, and quite quiet. Lots of birds chirping - particularly chickadees and cardinals.
