Day at the races

Today we went to Dingley Races. It was my first time at a point to point meet, mad considering my uncle was champion jockey!
It was fab, dodgy start to the weather but a great day. It was like a natural amphitheatre, with the car park on a steep hill which overlooked the course. You could see the entire racecourse from everywhere.
We had one winner. My nephew presented one of the prizes (his grandfathers company sponsored the event) and was very excited by his moment in the spotlight.
The children are asking when we can go again!
