Dark Places

Liz took us here - into a very dark alley leading to a boatyard at the side of a canal. Having gone through this, we met up with a VERY large alsatian hound.
We strode through the yard, with me trying to keep the mutt from jumping on Liz, until we eventually met up with the yard owner.
He explained that the dog was VERY vicious and unpredictable, and he would be happier if we buggered off.
He very helpfully escorted us off the premises while trying to keep his mad dog from assaulting us.
This was part of a walk in a guide book called Secret Venice.
A wee adventure, almost gone wrong.
