The empire stalks back

I'm being stalked by turkeys. Yesterday when I was blipping the harrow I had one marching up and down beside me (it was cold, his breathe steamed when he gobbled at me) and today I met this fella with his ladies.

You just have to say WHY? Why is he so ugly? Or why do we think he's so ugly? Why did anyone think that his extraordinary red flaps of skin (like mouldy bacon, my daughter says) were a good idea in genetic terms? And why - why - does he look like the Emperor in Star Wars???

Anyway, Easter or Christmas he's my blip for today. It might be a relief to get back to blipping blossom tomorrow.
