Garden Visitor

This morning the dog was barking excitedly in the garden.

It wasn't her usual barking and on investigation it was obvious that something was getting her excited. Bottom was up and tail was wagging. Hubby found this little chap hiding behind some bricks. Much as I wanted to get a photo of it I didn't want to go too near. (Well, you know that they can clamber up the outside of your wellies and get inside!)

So I had to sit inside waiting patiently for it to surface again. It seemed to know I was watching it. I got a couple of shots of it peeking over the top of this little rock before it ran off.
