Monarch

It was a lovely, lovely, lovely day today. Time to sit out in the garden, read a little and take a few shots of the growing Monarch population sunning themselved in a tree.

I was a bit unsure as to which pic to blip today - this Monarch or something flying just a little higher!!

2 days of work coming up so blipping time will be a little more restricted.

Btw - I called the SPCA today to find out about the cormorant I found the other day. Sadly, it just got weaker and weaker and they decided it was best to put it to sleep. I felt quite sad about that news although I understand that Mother Nature has her way of dealing with things.
