Sea of blue

Went for a walk at Lake Chabot (in the east SF bay area) this afternoon. These blue wildflowers are all over the sides of the trails. Super beautiful!

Lake Chabot is one of my favorite places to go when I'm visiting home. I grew up going to the lake all the time; the smell of the oak chaparral forest brings me a kind of nostalgic peace that is unmatched by other natural environments.
