Old and new

This derelict old hut had always intrigued me. It's sat on its own amongst all the modern buildings at Liverpools waterfront. I took this from the ferry and only noticed later that somebody must have liked that hut too and put a chair outside. Just the place to sit and watch the ships going up and down the Mersey, enjoy the gulls and cormorants and read the sunday newspaper.
On a warm day anyway....
